SOLID AXLE SWAP SUSPENSION KITS

Finally an update for all you guys who are waiting on our Dana 60 Solid Axle Swap Kit. All is coming along very well. We are currently tweaking the design and perfecting the parts and pieces. We are still working on our prototypes and testing of the kit. Currently we are just about to bolt on prototype number 2. So it’s only a matter of time before we have it available. Hopefully within the next 6-8 weeks we will have it available.

We will likely be offering two or three levels of kits:

The Base kit (or Level 1) will likely include the basics to get the truck up and running. That would be, Radius Arms, Radius Arm brackets, Axle brackets, Track Bar bracket, Track Bar, Heim joints, bushings & Hardware. The kit is designed for flexibility. You can move the axle anywhere from 1”-2.5” forward of stock. Caster will be fully adjustable via a “picture frame” bracket as well as shims between the axle and the brackets. It will be set at 6* but it can be adjusted anywhere from 2-10* This allows the end user to dial the kit in exactly how they want. It also allows for larger lifts of 8” or more without worrying about caster angle. This kit would be for those on a budget who currently have a 6” suspension lift. You would use your existing springs, shocks and extended brake lines.

The Level 2 kit would include everything above plus: coil springs, shocks, shock adapter brackets for adapting the upper mounts from stud mount to eyelet mount, & extended brake lines. We may possibly add in bump stops and brackets but that is yet to be determined.

Level 3, if we go this far (we have preliminary plans) would be the ultimate 60 SAS Kit. It would use Coil-over shocks and hydraulic bump stops. This Kit would remove the stock coil spring tower and replace it with a new shock “hoop” for mounting of a Coil-over shock. The kit would come with Bilstein 9100 Series Coil-overs, coil-over adapter brackets to mount the coil-over to our axle brackets, coil springs (you pick what rates you want), Bilstein Hydraulic bump stops, bump stop brackets and limit straps. Again this is still in the works. Also, all these components will be easily added to our level 1 or level 2 kits at any time in the future via simple bolt on brackets.

The pricing of these kits is still yet to be determined.
FYI we decided not to pursue a Dana 44 Kit at this time.
